Yo and hello! My name is Kyle and welcome to Moss by KP.
Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, I am the artist behind Moss by KP. I’ve always enjoyed being creative, left my office job during the pandemic to explore more passionate work.
At first, I starting by doing little golf themed moss art installations (displayed in my parents basement) and quickly became enthralled with moss art. Perhaps the more interesting discovery I’ve made since beginning is the impact my work (or moss in general) has on the viewer.
With his business background in renewable energy and design, I already understood the importance of adding green areas and biophilic design for people but seeing it alive in my own work inspired me to create Moss by KP.
Drawing inspiration from the natural environment to create abstract narratives with my moss art, I created Moss by KP to help aid in three major areas of life:
1) Focus on building a sustainable future through education
2) Aspire to surround oneself in nature
3) Sparks creativity within myself and others
With that said, I aim to share upcoming posts on several ideas and reflections that discuss suitability, biophilic design, and unlocking your innate creativity.
