Is preserved moss alive?

Preserved moss is natural moss that is no longer alive and has been carefully preserved for decorative purposes through an eco-friendly process.

Do I have to water preserved moss?

As the moss is no longer alive, you DO NOT need to water it, saving money on maintenance costs.

Does preserved moss smell?

For the first month or two, preserved moss will have an earthy odor which some people do not like. Natural deodorizers can be used safely without ruining the moss.

    Preserved moss art is funky, exciting and fresh. Lasts up to 10 years, is cheaper and easier to maintain, and allows you to put greenery into any part of your house.

    What is the difference between preserved moss and dried moss?

    Preserved Moss:

    • Used indoors
    • Does not grow back
    • Requires no maintenance – no water soil, sunlight, fertilizer, etc.

    Dried Moss:

    • Used in gardens for horticultural purposes
    • Usually sold and priced based on weight
    • Can be revived by rehydrating it
